The tour from Trento to Mantua is the longest leg of this Transalp. The first 70km run relaxed again along the Adige, which is now called Italian Adige. Then you have to climb a few meters through the vineyards to get to the shores of Lake Garda. Here there is a short stretch of busy road to Peschiera del Garda that unfortunately can not be avoided. Peschiera lends itself to a lunch break, perhaps with a view of the lake, before returning to Mantua, Italy's cultural capital of 2017 - and the place where Shakespeare Romeo once banished.

Well, relaxed is different. The first 70km are on the left, sometimes on the right of the Adige. It goes up the vineyards and then suddenly down again. In addition, from noon the wind blows uphill, i. you always have headwind. You do not really get into a rhythm. For a compensation for the landscape, just blatant.

The first 70 km are to be classified as easy, you can not generalize with the wind because sometimes south wind and sometimes north wind is Christian so you can also get tail wind. I personally find the tour really easy, have fun

Hmm, everyone has a different feeling and different fitness requirements. It was not difficult, just not rhythmic: up the vineyard, across the street, down the vineyard and up again, across the street, abrupt hairpin bends, etc. It was relaxing. Next time I would just stay on the road on the track. And that with the south wind, that is a well-known phenomenon in this region (Ora) and quite predictable, which means that Lake Garda and Lake Kaltern, among other things. are popular surfing areas.
