Allegra! On this round tour you follow the traces of the Bündner novels or Romansh novels. They are the smallest Swiss language group with only half a percent of the population. In the Engadine the variant Puter is spoken, which you will discover again and again in many place names and signs. It starts in Bever am Inn. The Inn is called En and the name Engadin is derived from it. On great gravel paths you drive up and down on the slopes near the Inn and always enjoy a great view of the valley. At the height of S-chanf (pronounced: Schtschanf) you turn into the original valley of the Ova da Murtiröl. The babbling brook accompanies you through the wildly romantic, almost untouched nature. The end of the tour is Alp Vaüglia at 1,950 meters. If you feel like it, you can continue on beautiful trails to Alp Chaschauna or you can go back to the Inn Valley on the other side of the river. The fast descent is really fun!The way back to Bever leads you comfortably on asphalt paths through idyllic, original Engadine villages. Here the population still speaks Romansh. Zuoz is particularly beautiful with its special houses. If you see a bakery along the way, briefly get off your bike and enjoy a delicious Engadine nut cake that you deserve!
