For this demanding mountain bike day tour you should bring a certain level of fitness. You will be rewarded for the efforts on this circuit with breathtaking views of the Salzburg mountains. Technically, the tour is not particularly difficult since you are mainly on gravel and asphalt roads.From Flachau the route leads along the Enns cycle path to Reitdorf, where you turn left towards the bathing lake. Keep to the right after the bathing lake and follow the Aigenbergweg on asphalt for about seven kilometers, before going on a gravel road towards Eben.Over the Höllberg and the Blümeck you crank up to the Heinrich-Kiener-Haus on the Hochgründeck, which is picturesquely located at an altitude of 1,800 meters. A little above the hut you will find the idyllic St. Vinzenz Friedenskircherl. The summit of the 1,827-meter-high Hochgründeck is also a worthwhile destination with a gigantic view, which you can reach from the Heinrich-Kiener-Haus in just a few minutes.After a refreshment you roll back down to the Ginau saddle and then on to the lacquer chapel. The Öbristweg takes you down to the Moos district of Wagrain and then back to Flachau.
