If you have such a big tour, you have to have good endurance and don't give up on climbs, or ride an e-bike. 😉Today it was dry and quite sunny, but not overly warm. Unfortunately, the "light northwest wind" turned out to be quite strong. However, we drove the tour into the wind, so that a reversal with decreasing strength or weakening battery would not have been a problem. There are also plenty of train stations on the tour (Coppenbrügge, Voldagsen, Osterwald, Elze and Nordstemmen), so that you can take a train every hour with a bicycle. At Campingpark Humboldtsee we asked for a parking space for the coming weekends. Unfortunately, the corona crisis means that the space can only be partially occupied and that everything is already fully booked. There have not been decades in which we regularly stand here with the caravan. 🙄There was ice cream at the snack bar. 😎Things are not looking good at Bruchsee: the kiosk is closed and there is no sign or indication of opening. The guests rested there and ate what we brought with us.The ride back was comfortable thanks to the backwind, but in the end we felt the kilometers clearly in our legs. We are a bit frustrated because the planned camping weekends are canceled. But who cares, there are round tours from the front door. 😉

Very very nice! Thanks for the documentary, Hammer-Runde 🔨!
Do you camp me a trailer or trailer?
Give it a try at the Schiedersee! From there you can start great laps .... ☀️

Always a wonderful area, especially in spring 😍. I know the poppy, I always took pictures when I came over 😅. We are still far from the "old" life, just a good thing that nature is still there for us.

    Thanks for the nice comments.
We rejected contacting other campsites. It is most likely cramped everywhere, only 50% of the places are allowed to be filled and normally good places of Ascension and Pentecost are fully booked. Possibly. the good guy from reception will still report if Pentecost is still possible. She is also very stressed with the new situation and has to get routine first.
We drive with a trailer, in the good piece our children grew up and a lot of lifeblood sticks to the "old-timer" of 30 years. Womo comes at the earliest when we are retired and still fit.

Stefan, we also spent years on holiday in Fehmarn in a caravan, built in 78 rustic oak 😂
    We loved it ❤️
At the end of last year, Sohnemann bought an empty Sprinter with a buddy, and they have been converting it into a van since then. Tomorrow / the day after tomorrow I'll help again, I'm on vacation .... hope he'll lend it to us 😉

We would actually be in the Elbe-Havel triangle. At the beginning of May we learned that nothing would work there before the beginning of June. By chance we found out that a permanent parking space is free at the campsite in Wilstedt (Elbe-Weser triangle). Since we are very skeptical whether this year you can get where you want to go, we took this place. As a permanent camper, we can go there. So we will explore the large cycle path network there.

Incidentally, a great tour and nice pictures. Awakening nature caresses our soul - we should be more careful with it.

The last cancellations of campsites nearby came this morning. I just watched what's going on in Fehmarn. Bingo: They still had few places for ascension. When booking on the PC and telephone, I was clearly advised that only the toilets were open, so you only had to do the personal care in the caravan. - No matter, then after many years the hot water system is put back into operation. I'm curious!

Well go Stefan; 🚿 is overrated ... into the Baltic Sea and then shake it once, everything sparkling clean 😉
Which campsite did you get? Fehmarn has plenty.

Have a nice holiday !!! Persistence pays off👍🏽
We were on Fehmarn for many years, when the Blagen were still small, wonderfully comfortable vacations ... the first years on the Flügger beach, later Wallnau. Both are recommended, albeit very differently

My wife and I were camping on Flügger Strand when we were both still in training and had no money. Only cycled with camping equipment on the bikes from Hildesheim through Holstein Switzerland to Fehmarn. In fact, the Flügger Strand is not comparable to Wallnau even today. Wallnau is in a different league. Later we were always on "super places" like Schluga in Carinthia, South Sea camp and top places in Denmark. Lately the environment / nature has been more important to us than the place itself. For many years we were with the kids at Klausdorfer Strand. There were the sons of the farmer and campsite owner Kohlhoff when our children were old. Now the old Kohlhoff is only a farmer and the children take up the place that has blossomed powerfully. We have known the employees for almost 30 years and you smile happily because you are still fine. The place has lost its old charm, which it had earlier when the music group of the fire brigade made a move across the square for Willi Ehler's 60th birthday and the many children in bedding and cuddly bears followed in their arms ..... during the site inspection the fire brigade to check compliance with the distance regulations (so there was earlier, not only since Corona 😉), there was always a welcome round with a clear, because it sharpened the critical eye. The permanent campers' children always won at the summer party. We heartily granted it to a severely disabled boy. You actually have the most beautiful joy when you can share in the joy of others who have not been as happy as yourself.Camping Klausdorfer Strand has become a modern commercial company. What the hell, not everyone found the old sanitary facilities cozy "and the narrow gravel paths between the rows of caravans idyllic. Today there is a supermarket, a large restaurant, wellness area with sauna and a panoramic view of the sea. The space has been increased drastically by many new comfort spaces. Our plot is still moderate with 100 square meters and water, sewage and TV.TV is the very last thing we will look at.
Well, they still had a handful of places and so I made a quick decision. We will probably endure the three days there. 😊
Again to Flügger Strand: There is this great lighthouse with a wonderful view and a management that offers what is probably the best apple pie in the world. Alternatively, fish rolls, even with cream. I got involved when I tried a stupid joke. Did not work so well and she served the bismarck herring roll with cream grinning ..... 😜
