Today we probably read the weather forecast too positively. Start in Schwanden with rain and 8 degrees. The climb to the Urnerboden and to the Brustegg was hard fought in the weather. The descent to Braunwald was all the better, great trails and no hiking due to the bad weather. After our lunch break

Nice tour, I know it in reverse and in better weather.

    Greetings Toni

Unfortunately only know the main street (used to be on the racing bike from Näfels)

Know the tour in the opposite direction, don't forget to visit the waterfall 👍🏻

Ingo and Toni, I only have the feeling that the opposite direction you have driven is steeper and longer than from the Urnerboden .....

Yes, it is steeper and also stricter, since the ascent is mostly on gravel and also includes a push route! Have already done both, still have fun biking 👍🏻🚵‍♀️👏🏻

Yes, if you first drive over Oberplegisee and Braunwald and then down to the Urnerboden, you mostly have gravel paths in the ascent, and then you descend from the Urnerboden on asphalt.
