A wild and romantic meadow landscape, ponds shaped by the Ice Age and greenery as far as the eye can see. Doesn't that sound like Berlin? And yet on this tour you are in the very northeast of the lively capital. For a good 18 kilometers you will explore the diverse district of Lichtenberg in all its colors and shades. The starting point is Genslerstrasse in the Hohenschönhausen district. As soon as you started north, it turns unexpectedly green. The popular Oberseepark with its lakes and the well-hidden nature reserve Fauler See, in which you are surrounded by a wonderful silence, open up in front of you. Once to the right, once to the left and you've already arrived at the gates of the city. Wide fields and calm waters adorn the Malchow meadow landscape and the Falkenberger Luch that follows.Romantic wooden benches beckon you to take a rest and let you switch off from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Berlin? Is that really around the corner? Past the Falkenberger Krugwiesen you cycle slowly back to civilization and you will soon have reached the end of the round.
