What can I say, Komoot is biting endlessly. Had planned a tour, which was canceled for some reason when the program crashed after almost 10 KM.
This is the rest of it, but it was normal again and continued to be recorded even after the planned tour. But then I drove on without navigation, just so easy.
It starts in the middle of nowhere .....
I never get upset, just do what it wants, the stupid program.
Please do not give any tips about reinstalling etc., I've already done everything

Complete round according to Sigma: see picture
With the HM there is also a major difference, even if you add the two parts together

    Hello Heiner,
You drive so many kilometers, why didn't you record a good GPX bike computer?
Then you always have a properly logged tour that you can upload to Komoot.
I have two Garmin on my bike, I navigate with the GPSMap and I have a small EDGE 500 as a backup. My smartphone is in my backpack - I only need it to make calls!
I have already logged over 35,000 km with it and on my PC!
modern technology is not always an advantage!

    Hello Kurpfalzradler,
So far, Komoot has been fairly reliable with a few exceptions. So I saw no need to use other devices.
Garmin may be good, but it's just too expensive for me. Data security is not guaranteed there either ... but that's another topic.
Maybe I'll get a Sigma Rox 12 to log, let's see. In order to take photos, another device with GPS / Glonas has to be built in and you have to install it using a computer.
So from a simple point of view, a cell phone is OK, despite all the disadvantages.

    Hello Heiner,
a SIGMA SPORT ROX 7.0 GPS only costs 100 € and that's enough. You can then plan and drive the tour as usual with your smartphone, but you don't lose a record when you cancel the program.
I have an integrated GPS on my bike, the log is done on my smartphone. After 20 km at the latest, however, the bluetooth connection is broken - not to be used.
Komoot cannot save the Hichtlights as waypoints - so they cannot be seen on my Garmin. Therefore, navigation with the Komoot app is an advantage here.
Pure GPS loggers for photo geocoding are available from € 50, that would be enough
    Greetings Kurpfalzradler
