This scenic hike takes you deep into the area of the Faltenbachtobel. The impressive path along rushing waterfalls through the gorge is one of the most beautiful Tobel routes in the Allgäu with a breathtaking variety of flora and fauna.You start the beautiful tour at the valley station of the Nebelhornbahn and after a good kilometer you reach the narrow gorge that the Faltenbach has washed into the rock for centuries. Take a close look on your way along the swirling water, because here you can discover rare plant and animal species. Passing a hydropower plant, you climb up to the Seealpe, where a stop with the best view is worthwhile. Then it goes down on the other side of the fold brook.Tip: If you are already on the Seealpe, we recommend that you take the “Uff d´r Alp” adventure trail with you as an exciting family adventure.On the last stretch back to your starting point you will pass the Schattenberg ski jumps again. Every year the four hills jump starts here and you can even marvel at the impressive facility from the hill tower.
