Harzer-Hexen-Stieg E01 - Osterode nach Clausthal-Zellerfeld
komoot planned a hike.
June 8, 2017
The first stage takes you from Osterode over the Hundscher Weg, a historic trade route. The path once provided the Harz miners with food and other important goods. The tour leads directly into the Harz, so you have to adjust to a few meters in altitude. The paths are consistently solid. Rest areas can be found on the way.At the Eselsplatz you will meet the Harzer Wanderadel on the first stamp. If you get hold of everyone on the track, the pin of the witch's bow beckons you.Further highlights await you at the Lehrbacher Fenster and Bärenbrucher Teich. Another rest area is u.a. at the lackhaler gate. Maybe you would like to spend the night at the camping Prahljust near Clausthal-Zellerfeld.
Yesterday I started with my daughter (10) and our 3kg Fußhupe on the bleaching site and we have the first stage (with a small detour, because we also wanted to get stamp 138) up to CLZ. The paths are still very muddy, but nothing that could fix the washing machine again. , , We have picked up the exit CLZ, the campsite and have the 13.9 km in 2 hours 30 minutes behind us. There was a small break at the donkey court, otherwise we went through. (We did not want to cool down)The track is almost continuously uphill, but can be created by even without mega condition. My daughter wanted to go further. She said it would be so exciting to see so much that one does not know yet.We are aiming for the next stage and are looking forward to it.
