In the footsteps of stage 1 of the Tour de France 2017, the cult kiosk "Fortuna-Büdchen" along the Rhine leads through the historic Kaiserswerth and south of Duisburg to Ratingen, where the foothills of the Bergisches Land begin.Route: The route leads to Düssel on well-paved farm tracks, where the river of the same name rises nearby. We continue through the historic Gruiten into the Neandertal - most important part of the 2nd tour stage 2017. Along the Düsseldorf city forest, the path then leads towards the city center and across the 630,000-inhabitant metropolis back to the Rhine.Tip: At the end of the tour, get a bottle of "Füchschen" old at the little booth, put it on the quay wall and watch ships or people.
