A beautiful forest run with approx. 40% flowy trail content. Especially the section on the steeply sloping shore of the Schmöldese requires sure-footedness and a bit of climbing over (through) a few fallen trees that sometimes lie several times on top of each other. But you are "very close" to the lake and undisturbed in magical nature. The KiEZ site on the Wooden Lake is closed due to the Corona crisis. If you want to walk back on the west bank of the Schmöldese, you should better decide at the Forsthaus, then you save yourself a long way back. And a big thank you to Cornell Paasche for the inspiration for this route!

The real vertical meters were 230m ... maybe one or the other might also know well;)

I am very happy that I could inspire you to run in this area. The east bank at Schmöldesee was certainly an interesting route, despite the climbing units. If you take the path behind the wooden gate at the Forsthaus Dubrow and the grounds of the KiEZ Hölzerner See are closed, you would have to walk along the outside of the fence to reach the west bank of the Schmöldesees. In this respect, you are right that you should just turn left from the forest house. We were lucky and the gate was open. At the other end, we also had to climb.
