The Franken-Bike-Marathon is one of the most technically demanding in the country. Julia's lap is largely based on the original route. Almost half of the tour consists of single trails with small challenges - and one or the other "Almighty!" Moment.Condition: medium
Driving technique: medium to difficult (S2 to S3 *)
After the nice skirmish on the Eulenberg and at the Kordigast lookout point, it's time to get down to business in Burkheim! The first steep descent awaits shortly after Roth. This is followed by a short, steep ascent and the descent to Trieb. The single trail paradise begins at the Karolinenhöhe with a steep ascent to the Gretchenbrunnen. The next delicacy: the retirement home downhill to Lichtenfels. Along the slope it goes up and shortly afterwards downhill to Klosterlangheim, before the round closes with a nice trail downhill to Trieb.
Tip: A detour to Vierzehnheiligen or Schloss Banz (with monastery restaurant) is always worthwhile!

One question about that. How does that fit together? Allegedly almost only trails but then 75% of the way with gravel surface, so forest motorway? What's right now?
