Fantastic round on hundreds of years old military routes.Condition: medium to difficult
Driving technique: medium to difficult (S2 to S3 *)
Character: a wonderful tour from the Limones orchards up to the Tremosine plateau and along centuries-old military roads to the famous Nota and Rocchetta passes. Down to Lake Garda, a crisp descent through the steep Valle del Singol awaits you from Passo Guil.Route: Limone (70 m) - Vesio (650 m) - Piazzale Angelini - near Corna Vecchia (1300 m) - Passo Nota (1198 m; stopover) - Passo di Bestana (1274 m) - Bocca dei Fortini - Passo Guil (1209 m) - Passo Rocchetta (1159 m) - Passo Guil - Valle del Singol - LimoneDescription: Tremalzo, Caplone & Co. - the sunny plateau of Tremosine is the purest treasure chest for touring bikers. If you want to tickle your nerves with a 1100-meter view, you have to go to Passo Rocchetta! You start in Limone and crank on asphalt, soon on a little-used side road to Vesio. From here, an old military road winds in umpteen bends to Cima Sospiri and around Corna Vecchia to Passo Nota. If you want to go to Tremalzo, turn west, if you want to stand vertically above the glittering lake, turn east. Back at Passo Guil, a narrow, demanding path winds down into the Valle del Singol and as a cobbled path on to Limone.
