It starts at the main train station in Münster. From here you cycle on the south course to the east, cross the Dormund-Ems Canal and meet the Werse at the gates of the city. You follow the course of the river south and roll through a picturesque meadow landscape. Again and again the bike path leads directly along the shore, where you can let your gaze wander over the water. In Wollbeck you can take a leisurely break and pay a visit to the former Burgmannshof Drostenhof Wolbeck. Then you cycle through the beautiful park landscape over Alverskirchen to the south. In Albersloh you meet the Werse again and roll calmly on the river bike path through the fairytale nature on the shore. Finally, you turn off to Rinkerode, where you meet the Bisping house after crossing the village. Not far from there is the water castle Haus Borg, which is also worth a visit. We continue through the Davert flat depression with its extensive forests via Davensberg to Ascheberg.

In the last few days, however, I drove the southern route in 5 days. It was wonderful 😊👍🏻
I was very happy to have all the routes saved on Komoot, the signage was a bit spartan. But the tour overall very nice and recommendable.
