The cross-border round called HP6 offers beautiful views to Italy and Slovenia.Endurance: easyDriving technique: easy to medium (S0 to S1, short digits S2 *)Character: The cross-border circuit called HP6 offers beautiful views all the way to Italy and Slovenia. Rugged rock formations, lush alpine pastures and short, nice trail passages make this short jaunt from the Nassfeld pass a little highlight.Route: Nassfeld Pass - near Gartnerkofel mountain station - Garnitzenalm - Garnitzensattel - Nassfeld PassDescription: From the Nassfeld Pass you crank uphill on a narrow asphalt road towards Watschiger Alm. After 900 meters, turn right and always follow the gravel path towards the Gartnerkofelbahn mountain station. The highest point (and a beautiful viewpoint) can be reached at km 2.7. Keep right here and descend to the Garnitzenalm. After resting and stopping at the beautiful hut, continue straight ahead and slightly uphill to the Garnitzensattel. Once here, there is a nice little single trail downhill that leads to an alpine hut. Here you take a sharp right onto a dirt road. Keep right at km 7.2. At km 10.4 you reach the pass road and follow it to the right back to the starting point at the Nassfeld pass.
