With the Oberkircher Brennersteig you really go on a scenic and culinary journey of discovery. In the gentle hills of the Hesselbach valley, numerous distilleries invite you to taste them - sometimes as tiny huts.It starts at the Hesselbach hiking car park. Between meadows you follow the Brennersteig to the edge of the forest and turn onto the Schnapslehrpfad. Pieces of forest and meadow alternate again and again and you can enjoy fruity fires at small distilleries and tasting boxes. After you've already climbed the highest point of the tour, you descend gently to the Geigerskopf tower. Magnificent views of the Rhine Valley to the opposite Vosges await you after you have climbed the spiral staircase.Through orchards and past farms you come back to the hiking parking lot, where you can stop off at one of the rustic inns.
