The Wurmlinger Chapel is enthroned high up on the mountain - the view is accordingly great. You can enjoy this view on the five kilometer long “Wurmlinger Kapellenwegle”. The name also says it all for the fruit eaves: The path leads you along flowering orchards and steep vineyards. The tour starts at the chapel parking lot in Wurmlingen. You start on a flat track and warm up very relaxed. From the “Hohenzollernblick” vantage point, you can see the striking silhouette of the imposing castle in the distance. Shortly afterwards you will find out interesting facts about viticulture in the region on the wine trail. Then the path climbs slightly to the summit of the Kapellenberg, on which the famous Wurmlinger chapel is located. Stop at this place and enjoy the wonderful view around the house of God. Not far from the chapel you will find a comfortable wooden lounger from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Ammertal. You hike back to the starting point through the vineyards and past lush meadows and fruit trees. There is a small kiosk at the hiking car park. If you still want to stop by, you will find a good selection in Wurmlingen or in neighboring Rottenburg am Neckar.
