Starting at the parking lot Ried you walk to the bridge Isar, then a short distance back over the main road and up into the forest. Now on a narrow path through the forest until you reach after about half an hour a tear, the so-called Hofleite. A piece parallel to her upwards, then at a signpost you cross either immediately the tear or you wander still another piece up to the Sulzleklamm suspension bridge and cross her on the small ravine. Both paths lead back together and cross the material cable car of the hut at about 1200 m. Then the forest trail leads in many serpentines up to the Brunnstein hut (1523 m).
