The starting point of this tour is in the small town of Afur, which is surrounded by a wonderful mountain world. The traditional cave and stone houses that are covered with a thatched roof are special here. You follow the rocky Barranco de Afur gorge downhill, which carries water all year round. Here you are in one of the most remote and fascinating areas of Tenerife. This becomes even clearer at Playa de Tamadite - you mostly have the secluded beach to yourself. The waves of the deep blue Atlantic meet the dark sand and the cliffs covered with bushes.
 
The second section of the path runs along the picturesque coast and has countless photo opportunities ready for you: the rocks rise sharply and sharply into the sky and defy the sea. You come to the village of El Chorro with remains of the old vineyards, presses and wineries, where winegrowing once flourished. From El Chorro it is only a short distance to your destination in Taganana, where you can try the wine mentioned. The houses nestle on the green slopes of the surrounding mountains like swallows' nests and offer an impressive sight.The starting point in Afur can be reached from San Cristóbal de La Laguna with bus line 76.
