Passo San Iorio

Mountain Biking Highlight

The old German dialectal name of the pass is actually Jörisberg or Joris, derived from the Latin Georgius. The pass is 2,012 meters high and is a so-called hempass over the former goods were transported with pack animals. There was also a customs station here.

So much for the historical. Otherwise, the pass convinces above all by its beautiful views and great downhill possibilities.
