First a tarred road leads into the Valle di Federia, then it goes over to a slightly rising gravel road. At about 2100 meters altitude the steep gravel road branches off to Rifugio Cassana. It may be that you have to dismount and push here. From the Rifugio there are then almost 90 hm sliding piece up to the pass.Hintunter goes through a demanding singletrack, which then becomes easier in the lower part and turns into a meadow trail. Neat driving skills you should bring but if you want to enjoy the descent.

New: in the summer of 2020, the demanding single trail was replaced by a very flowing and easy-to-drive trail with many curves. The old trail is being dismantled.
