Einödsbach lies on a south-facing grassy slope at the exit of the Bacherlochtal. Einödsbach is the southernmost permanent settlement in Germany. A beautiful photo opportunity: in the foreground an old farmhouse and a chapel; in the background the bright peaks of the Trettachspitze and Mädelegabel, which remind something of the Dolomites.einoedsbach.de
Before and after the Schrofenpass the bike has to be carried for about 45 minutes. The last 400m are particularly narrow and directly on a rock face, some places are secured with wire rope and iron bridges. Vertigo and absolute sure-footedness are a must. The bike must be worn here on the shoulder (side of the valley!).
The subsequent downhill is classified as S3 and can only be ridden by very experienced and technically experienced bikers.
