Einödsbach lies on a south-facing grassy slope at the exit of the Bacherlochtal. Einödsbach is the southernmost permanent settlement in Germany.
A beautiful photo opportunity: in the foreground an old farmhouse and a chapel; in the background the bright peaks of the Trettachspitze and Mädelegabel, which remind something of the Dolomites.

Rappenalptal

Mountain Biking Highlight

Up to the black hut leads a nice tarred road through the Rappenalptal. From here you continue to Schrofenpass, Rappenseehütte or Mindelheimer Hütte.

Hinauf zum Schrofenpass

Mountain Biking Highlight (Segment)

Before and after the Schrofenpass the bike has to be carried for about 45 minutes. The last 400m are particularly narrow and directly on a rock face, some places are secured with wire rope and iron bridges. Vertigo and absolute sure-footedness are a must. The bike must be worn here on the shoulder (side of the valley!).

The subsequent downhill is classified as S3 and can only be ridden by very experienced and technically experienced bikers.

Cozy it goes to Einödsbach and then up through the Rappental. Cycle up to Schrofenpass and then carry the bike for a while. The effort pays off once you get to the top. Fantastic! Down it's only on an S3 Trail and then on S2 before you come back on the road and leisurely bike to Lech.

When do you want to do that?
You know that there is still snow here on the mountains

Hello Rosi, yes, we thought April, April, does what he wants, maybe the snow is already melting away. ;-)Small joke. The tour comes, of course, in a collection with suggestions for MTB tours in the summer.Best regards,
    your komoot team
