Riva del Garda

Hiking Highlight

Even the ancient Romans knew why they founded a settlement here on the northernmost tip of Lake Garda. It could not be better. Today, Riva del Garda is a much beloved holiday resort that offers much that a sportsman's heart desires. No matter how many times you've been there, you can always spend a weekend in the mountains by the water.

Uphill it goes first on a tar road and then on gravel, easy to drive. It's down to a downhill classic on Lake Garda - through tunnels and countless hairpin bends on an eroded gravel road. From the Passo Guil it is technically much more difficult. Here you have the option to turn left in the direction of Ledro, if your driving skills are not yet well-versed.Conclusion: easy ascent and a grandiose descent!

Hello. I find the general hint that you may push or carry your bike does not have to be good at all. So it is really difficult to plan tours. In this case, it is more about a road than a trail.
Would it be possible to elaborate on the difficulties (length or time)?
Or is this information required to legally secure?

Is a fantastic tour, I have been to this area many times. But I would recommend anyone who has a good physical condition, expand this tour as a round trip and start from Riva, then save on top of that, the shuttle.

Did the tour go down many times, also with a shuttle up from Torbole. Technically not dramatically difficult, mostly S1 and S2, definitely to be recommended
