Today, the highlight of the tour is in the truest sense of the word: the hike up Storvätteshågna (1204m), the highest peak in the Svealand region. The path leads through moderately sloping terrain to the small lake Övre Fosksjön, on the banks of which you can also camp wonderfully. From the top of Storvätteshågna you have a fantastic view of the neighboring national parks and across to Norway. On the south side it goes down towards the valley to the bank of the river Foskan. In difficult weather conditions, the path is worth a cross country road to the west to the refuge Oskarstugan.
