This circular walk at the border triangle in Nauders will inspire you with its impressive natural landscape. Here, between Reschenpass and the Swiss border, lie the two Mutzköpfe and in the middle two beautiful mountain lakes: the Black and the Green Lake.First you take the chairlift to the Kleine Mutzkopf and from there you walk past several bogs with white cottongrass to the nature reserve Schwarze See. Moorsee is the highest lake in the Alps where water lilies grow. Especially in July, when the water lilies open their flowers, you can experience a unique natural spectacle here. After the circumnavigation of the lake you follow the trail through a spruce forest up to the green lake. From here, the trail continues southeast and you will reach the large Grossmutz meadows. Through the meadows, the ascent to the Grosse Mutzkopf takes place, which awaits you with a unique view. Then you follow the trail no. 7 on the Riatschwiesen to Riatschhof. From here you hike across wide meadows and through the forest down to the valley station in Nauders.
