The somewhat more demanding circular hike in the footsteps of Max Wallraf to Cologne guarantees a varied holiday experience at the foot of the Rubihorn.At the beginning of the multifaceted hike, it goes up to the Breitenberg via the Schattenberg Stadium.Then two descent variants are available. The Tobelweg into the valley requires stable mountain shoes and sure-footedness, but offers a beautiful nature experience in the deep gorge of the wild Gaisalpbach. (The well-developed driveway, on the other hand, offers a much more comfortable and less demanding variant.)Arrived in the valley, it is now effortless to walk a bit along the Gaisalpbach until the hiking trail leads on sunny and promising meadow paths via Rubi back to Oberstdorf.
