This exciting mountain tour on the third level leads you directly from Oberstdorf to the summit of the Rubihorn - with over 1,100 vertical meters in the ascent in any case a tour for persevering hikers. From the valley station of the Nebelhornbahn, you will hike past the ski jumps and into the Faltenbachtobel. Through the wildly romantic brook gorge it goes uphill to the cable car middle station "Seealpe".Now you climb over wide, lush alpine meadows and through sparse woodland towards the summit. The path becomes steeper and then meanders in countless hairpin bends over the Südwestgrat to the summit cross. Here you will be for the long climb with a breathtaking view of the upper Illertal and the Allgäu mountains. Passing the lower Gaisalpsee and the cozy Gaisalpe, the route leads you down the Nordgrat down to the valley. The last section runs with a wonderful view over the Wallraffweg.
