A round from Bergisch Gladbach through Scherfbachtal, Odenthal, Bechsiefen and Hundbergersiefen back to Bergisch Gladbach.
I actually planned a hike from Bergisch Gladbach via Altenberg to Berg.
Since the hiking trail to Eschenberg was blocked by a gate, I went to Odenthal to take a hiking trail from here…
Actually a nice tour (with great pictures!) - such unannounced privatization of paths are always annoying! Maybe someone knows the region and can save you a useless walk!?
@🚶♀️Irma 🥾 did you report the bans to Komoot? That would be helpful when planning the tour for all subsequent hikers.
A very nice hike in my area. Very annoying with the road closure, but everything around the Lindenallee belongs to the private road/ownership of Strauweiler Castle.
@🚶♀️Irma 🥾 ,@Andrea wandert 🥾🎒 @Schrenki and other Komootlers, the paths around Klauberg, Eichenberg and the Lindenallee in Odenthal are all privately owned by von. Strauweiler Castle and on the map with a 🚫o. lock marked.
@Gaby Thanks for the info!
Thank you @Schrenki . Nevertheless, it has become a nice tour through many green passages.
The barriers are marked on the Komoot map, I just overlooked them.
@Andrea wandert 🥾🎒 when I read your suggestion to inform the Komoot about the barriers, I took a closer look at the map in deep zoom and saw the barriers. It was my fault.
Thanks @Gaby , now I've seen the locks too.
You still did a nice tour 👍 and with Strauweiler Castle it's annoying. You probably shouldn't get too close to them 🤷 ♀️
@Gaby , you often come across private estates that you have to go around extensively. I find that annoying too.
Despite the obstacles, you managed to create an interesting tour. Your flexibility is remarkable 👍👏😊. Beautiful photos..
