After a restful night in the Wasserberghaus, the third stage begins with a quiet section through the forest. You pass a small lake and cross several streams. Through the idyllic region of the Swabian Albtrauf you hike to Grünenberg, an Aussiedlerhof with an inn.We continue to the first impressive lookout point of the day, the Burren. A wonderful panorama awaits you on the 690 meter high mountain and your gaze wanders to the three Kaiserbergen mountains.From Burren the route continues into the Upper Filstal, past the Tennenberg, to the nature reserve Kuchberg and through the forest to the top mountain. The trees open again and again and offer you beautiful views.From the top mountain you hike down a serpentine into the valley and reach your destination Gingen an der Fils. The picturesque town is also called "Pearl of the Fils Valley" because of its half-timbered houses and idyllic location. In Gingen you will find a good selection of accommodation options.
