The last day on the Albsteig begins. It is the second shortest of all stages, but still has plenty of variety due to the wonderful nature and impressive ruins. You leave the idyllic Risiberg behind and start with one of the last small climbs up to the eaves. It goes through romantic forest and meadow paths, from which a detour to the summit cross of the Fürstenstein ruins is worthwhile. Unfortunately there is not much left of the ruin itself, but the view compensates for it. After Tuttlingen, the destination of your long journey, you only have to descend from now on.In one of the cozy cafés, you can recover from your challenging hike with a delicious cake and let the characteristic towers of the Tuttlingen town hall act on you. If you still have strength in your legs, you can take off to the Honberg castle ruins - with its unique crenellated and bonnet tower, the medieval fortress is a worthwhile addition to the Albsteig and a crowning conclusion.
