Schladming Dachstein planned a hike.
January 17, 2020
The penultimate of the eight stages around the Dachstein is the shortest of all with a duration of a good three hours. If the temperatures are good, you can take a detour to the bathing jetty and refresh yourself in Lake Hallstatt. But take it easy - the last stage of the circular hike is quite a lot.The tour starts at Lake Hallstatt, from where - depending on where you stayed - you make your way to Hallstatt train station. From here you walk along the eastern shore of Lake Hallstatt, which offers a great view of the crystal-clear water and Hallstatt, as well as one or the other idyllic resting place. If you have not packed a snack, the lakeside terrace of the riverside Seeraunzn invites you to fortify yourself. Take your time here - you can really enjoy yourself today. After a while you will find yourself below the Arikogl and hike along beautiful forest paths towards Au. Shortly you have to cross the main road, then you are already on a walking path that leads you through the wonderful landscape to Bad Goisern. This is your milestone today and at the same time a charming piece of earth with great gastronomy and cozy accommodations. So: relax! Tomorrow the last section of your unforgettable journey around the UNESCO World Heritage Dachstein awaits.Tip: Because the hike starts right at Hallstatt train station, it also makes a day trip of its own.
