Village idyll, blooming mountain meadows and a rushing waterfall - a lot of variety awaits you on this almost twelve kilometer hike. The tour starts at the post office in Monstein. You can easily reach the typical Walser village of Davos by bus.On the Alpweg behind Monstein you hike to Oberalp and on to Fanezmeder. Under the small steep step in front of the Fanezmedern you cross the Oberalpbach. Partly pathless it continues through gradually rising, flower-filled mountain meadows into the hollow of the Bärentällis. You will soon have reached Fanezfurgga. It lies between the Dolomite ridge Strel and the Chrachenhorn. At 2,580 meters you absolutely deserve a break to enjoy the rough alpine landscape. The path leads you down over the first small stream, further through the Ducantal and to the waterfall. After a short climb you continue on a steep path down to the end moraine of the former Chüealp glacier and on to Sertig Sand, your destination. Here you can look forward to a hearty meal in the Berggasthof Walserhuus at the end of the magnificent hike.
