Sleep well you start the fifth stage from the Ansbacher hut. The first section runs effortlessly over flower-filled meadows to the Kopfscharte, from where it continues over the Winterjöchl to the 2,632-meter-high Grießlscharte: the ascent leads through a steel rope-secured chimney, for which you should bring sure-footedness.Accompanied by babbling mountain streams and small waterfalls, you then hike down to the idyllic Parseier Valley. There you cross the clear Parseierbach and follow the route up the Bärenplei slopes to the Memminger Hütte. The climb is sometimes challenging and has an incline of up to 33% in some places. Your milestone, the Memminger Hütte, is one of the largest shelters in the Lechtal Alps with 140 beds and spoils you with Tyrolean home cooking.
