From Idstein you cycle in moderate up and down over wide fields and through quiet forests, right at the beginning you will pass a Limes tower that you can climb. From above you have a wonderful view of Idstein and the Taunus.
In Schloßborn, a long ascent to the Kleiner Feldberg begins. Once at the top…
Tip: To the east "above" the ammunition depot (east of Wehrheim) is the Kapersburg castle. It is similar in size to the Limes Fort and the small detour on the way is worthwhile. Great tour otherwise. Know most of the trails and they are nice to drive :-)
