The beginning of the German Limes cycle path is on the banks of the Rhine near Rheinbrohl. To get to the starting point, you have several options: Either you take the train to one of the train stations in Rheinbrohl, Bad Hönningen or Bad Breisig, which is on the other side of the bank. • Um, why does the tour pass the Rämerturm / Limes section in Bendorf?

I think the idea is great, I was also excited to find my home town again in the first stage, but I find it nonsense to leave out the tower.

  • Hi gwidinor, I'm not sure which tower you mean. The route follows the official cycle path "German Limes Cycle Path". The cycle path passes many Roman sites, but not all. :)

  • Hello @Johanna, I mean this one: Roman Tower

Not embarrassing for you but for the official map if something is so close to the "official" Lines bike trail and is not taken into account.

  • Thanks for your tip. The Roman Tower looks really worth seeing. I think for everyone who wants to ride the Limes cycle path, it is worth considering making a detour there or planning the route directly past it. :)
