    Not an easy one, but one worth riding if you are looking for some awesome paved and unpaved roads close to Garda Lake and avoid the mainstream climbs.

    

    Starting from Brescia you will make your way to Garda Lake. Be careful, it's a busy road especially in Summer.

  • Great! Question: if one wanted to avoid the traffic, could one leave from Salò or even earlier? And in that case, at what height would it cut and then return to Salò on the way back? Thanks in any case ... congratulations again

  • @Mattia Frigeri I think you can cut (by road) between Barghe and Volciano, just before Salò. I also see some sections of secondary road and dirt near the state road, it shouldn't be complicated.

  • @Mattia Frigeri You can easily leave from Salò even if you still have to do the western Gardesana...

    For the return you can continue after Barghe on the Valsabbia cycle path which is largely unpaved and very pleasant (especially on the return since it is slightly downhill), it is well marked on the Komoot
