Hiking Highlight (Segment)
weisweber went for a hike.

Today's tour took us to the Holstein Lake District. In the morning we drove to Bad Malente. There we looked at the Kurpark and then hiked along several lakes (Dieksee, Suhrer See, Behler See, Höftsee, Großer Madebrökensee, Edebergsee and Großer Plöner See) along the Holsteinische Seenplatte to Plön. All lakes (except Suhrer See and Großer Madebrökensee) are connected by the Schwentine river. Finally, in Plön we took a look at the castle, the associated park (with apple orchard and prince's house) and the city. Then we took the train back from Plön station to Malente. This route is served by a RE every half hour.I will make up the caption of the pictures.
Hello Wilhelm, beautiful photos! We wish you a happy new year! Greetings from Wolfgang and Regina

@Gabriela: Thank you for your greetings 😊 I am happy if I could remind you of the beautiful area around Malente virtually and visually.
Greetings from the new year, Wilhelm. You did a nice tour there. Weren't you there last year? Or am I confusing something. You don't get younger 😊.

@Lutz: Thank you very much 😊 Your memory is not entirely wrong. A good two years ago I did my big bike tour over Lübeck and Travemünde and in Lübeck I also work a lot. In this respect, Grömitz, Eutin, Malente, Plön and the Holstein Lake District closed the gap. I did not know the area between Kiel and Lübeck before.
