Looks good routes
How muddy 😲
On this compact circular, you experience truly exhilarating trails. The excitement begins from the get-go, when you set off on your bike from the car park next to the Derwent River. To start, you warm up on a nice, flat trail along the Cromford Canal, and off you go!
The route takes you through the hilly landscape of Derbyshire. With names such as ‘Jackass Descent’, ‘Black Rocks’, and ‘Kelly’s Trail’, the trails are as fun as they sound. With wonderful views, the rock formations along the Black Rocks Trail (after which the trail is named) are a particular highlight.
Since the area is a small mountain biking paradise, you can easily extend your adventure by trying out a few other trails that you pass time and time again as you ride.
Looks great though 😀
Muddy yes, but good old Derbyshire mud 😂👍
Looks like a trip I'm likely to make when the mud calms down a bit. Thanks Kelly.
