On the eighth day of hiking, it's time to say goodbye. To make it easier for you to say goodbye, the Zillertal mountains show their most beautiful side again. With a magnificent view, you first descend in a zigzag from the Kasseler Hütte to the Stilluptal. The Sonntagskarbach accompanies you on your way, which unites further below with the Stillupbach.Once in the valley, a wide and comfortable hiking trail leads you through one of the most beautiful side valleys in the Zillertal. You will soon reach the green wall hut. In the cozy mountain inn you can not only dine - you can also spend a night here and hike through the Stilluptal to Mayrhofen the next day.Alternatively, you can continue your hike to the Stilluper Hut or even to the Gasthof Wasserfall at Stillupspeichersee. From the reservoir you can even take the bus to Mayrhofen. If you still have enough reserves, you can of course hike to Mayrhofen today. In total, there is a distance of around 20 kilometers and a descent of almost 1,600 meters in altitude.
