The sixth stage covers almost 18 kilometers from Mechernich through the low mountain range of the North Eifel to Dottel. The path becomes hilly and covers almost 400 meters in altitude in the ascent and around 200 meters in altitude in the descent. In total, it took me a good five hours to walk the stage…
Such a nice tour :) just a tip: Kall has been connected to rail traffic again since June 2022.

Hello @Sarah , you are right, Kall is again connected to the railway system. I corrected the passage. For the hike on the Römerkanal hiking trail, it is important that the train currently has its terminus in Kall and that the route to Nettersheim is expected to be put back into operation in December 2023.
