When will the surface of the track be rehabilitated? The route on the Rhine is an impertinence!

    Hello Sebastian,
would be nice to know in which areas of the road surface (surface) must be renewed. In the Bonn Rheinauen or shortly before Remagen, I agree, but otherwise the surface is ok to Koblenz.

    Hello Eddi,
from Remagen to Bad Breisig is sometimes very shaky plaster, sometimes fat Wurzelaufbrüche or super coarse plaster at the feeder across from Leubsdorf. From Bad Breisig turn the route is quite gruesome, parallel to Koblenzer road until shortly after Brohl with very strange course in Brohl.
    Best regards
    Sebastian

    Hello Sebastian,
there you are right, the cuts are really annoying, the bumps go into the wrist and the back.
Here, the water and shipping administration as owner of the Rhine Cycle Route should necessarily eliminate the bumps. For this reason, I recommend every cyclist to use the right side of the Rhine from Weißenthurm over the Raiffeisen Bridge to Neuwied and then directly along the Rhine towards Leutesdorf, Bad Hönningen, Rheinbrohl, Linz, Bad Honnef, Königswinter to Bonn.Best regards
    Eddi

    Hello Eddi,
Such a thing is called here the Rhenish mystery; there would have to be a look ....
If the organizers are not entitled to the quality of the "bike path German unity", why should something improve?
But beautiful views and panoramic views do not create a bike path, because the surface belongs to it.
    Best regards
    Sébastien

For everyone traveling from Remagen to Bad Breisig: Nothing has been improved yet. Eddi's recommendation is therefore still ...
