You drive south from Lengerich and turn east at the gates of the city. Passing several ponds and the picturesque Niedermarker See, you will again reach the foot of the Teutoburg Forest.A crisp climb leads you under shady trees up to the ridge. Once at the top, you can enjoy beautiful views over the picturesque landscape and cycle in moderate ups and downs to Bad Iburg. It is worth visiting the castle Iburg, from which you have great views of the city and the surrounding area.A long descent will take you to the typical hedgerows of fields and meadows, which will take you on a flat stretch via Glandorf to the romantic Harkotten Castle. After having a look around the castle, you continue cycling through the beautiful parkland. You pass the idyllic Feldmarksee, pass Sassenberg and finally reach the Ems again. Along its shore you roll to the Emssee, which you finally cross and reach the destination of the stage in the Emssepark in Warendorf.
