Today is the last stage on the 100 castles tour, where you return to the starting point Coesfeld. From Senden you first cycle along a flat river cycle path directly along the Stever. You are surrounded by beautiful nature. In Appelhülsen you leave the bank of the Stever and take a slight uphill to Nottuln. Here you can admire magnificent sandstone buildings and take a first break, because it then goes further uphill.Through the beautiful nature reserve Nonnenbach Nottulner Berg you work your way up to the forest area Hengwehr and Hanloer Mark. Here you have reached the highest point of the stage and enjoy beautiful views of the Darup Valley at the edge of the forest. A pleasant descent will take you to the former Wasserburg Haus Hameren.Through the Berkelauen you cycle to the river of the same name and follow it for a short distance. Then the route leads you in a wide arc through the picturesque park landscape to the fairytale castle Varlar. Then you drive on beautiful paths through quiet forests and wide fields to Coesfeld, the destination of the unforgettable tour through the Münsterland.
