Stage 4: Villach - Ferlach
The following section is certainly the most varied (52 km) of this cycle tour. There are many lakes within easy reach and trips to Lake Wörthersee and Lake Faakersee are particularly worthwhile. Before you reach the site of Hallstatt-era graves near Rosegg, you should also try your luck at Casino Velden.
The Drau cycle path now mostly takes you on easily navigable dam paths through the enchanting Rosental. Impressive rocks, castles and lakes provide a variety of landscapes. A highlight is the stage destination, the gunsmith town of Ferlach.
