The Caban-Coch Reservoir is one of four reservoirs in the Elan Valley Reservoirs that provide drinking water to the city of Birmingham in particular. This one is the second largest and its dam is quite impressive. The bike path leads directly past it and above is a small playground. Here you can rest a bit and watch the great water surface or admire the dam. Swimming is unfortunately not allowed, would not be fun anyway, since the shore is hardly accessible.
