From this panoramic spot, you can see the cliffs of Stevns, a UNESCO World Heritage site, at a distance. These white chalk cliffs are pretty famous all around Denmark and hold traces of an asteroid that hit the earth 65 million years ago.

They appear for the first time just before the campsite: the chalk cliffs at Rødvik. The Coastal Cycle Route past Rødvik passes some very interesting sights, including a disused and an active quarry or a former military facility with guided tours through the underground tunnel system.
