The cycle path on the western shore of the lake is clearly preferable. There is a lot of traffic on the road at weekends and during summer rush hours. The bike path is in good condition. Update 2023: unfortunately increasing root damage on the bike path

Very nice surface, a bit hilly and not too much traffic. If you want you can use the bike path, the road is also very pleasant to ride on the road bike.
