The Ponte 25 de Abril (German: Bridge of April 25) is a 3.2 km long bridge in Portugal with a 2278-meter suspension bridge over the Tagus. It is the third longest suspension bridge with combined road and rail traffic in the world, after the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge and Tsing Ma Bridge. It connects the Lisbon district of Alcântara with the city of Almada in a north-south direction. The A2 / IP7 motorway leads across the bridge in six lanes. on the opposite side of the Tejo forms a unit with the bridge when viewed from the old town.

The 25th of April Bridge is a suspension bridge in Lisbon, Portugal, very similar to San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge. It crosses the Tagus River, connecting the capital to the city of Almada. Inaugurated in 1966 as the Salazar Bridge, it was renamed after the Carnation Revolution on April 25, 1974, in commemoration of the end of the dictatorship. It is a vital structure that carries both vehicles and trains.
