Of course, the emergence of all this is by no means natural. What the coal mining has done here for decades, is already blatant. All the better, what has become of it. The apocalyptic dismantling monster machines have given way to a lake landscape crisscrossed by really beautiful bike paths that are really fun touring.

We cycled around the Goitzsche. The nature is unique and the view from the level tower is terrific - many thanks for the restoration after the storm Kyrill. We will be back!
