The Kandelhöhenweg is an absolute top trail - but it is best not to ride it on Sundays or even on public holidays, because people like to hike a lot here. A cautious behavior as a biker is absolutely recommended here, because this helps to keep the atmosphere between bikers and hikers pleasant.

The Kandel mountain trail is great to ride with the MTB - no extreme climbs, but a lively up and down on mostly singletrack sections make a lot of fun. However, it is essential to let the hikers and the trail on days of particularly high numbers of hikers to avoid - these are in particular May 1, Ascension and Corpus Christi, because here are arranged in various places Hocks that attract many pedestrians.

Really a great way! You can always expect hikers with and without a dog. Consideration and a friendly greeting to you. Hikers is quite appropriate. Enjoy the path and do not shoot your time trial at top speed, then everyone will have a long time to enjoy! :)
